Getting Started

LeanFeast is a convenient restaurant and online store offering healthy, on-the-go meals. You can order online for pick-up or delivery or visit our store to customize your meals. For convenient re-ordering we offer fully customizable subscriptions. No need to log on each week to order, just set it up once and your meals will be ready for pick-up weekly or arrive at your doorstep.
Yes! You can heat up your meal at a LeanFeast location using one of our microwaves! All our meals are designed to be heated in the microwave for your convenience. Leave the lid on, pop it in your microwave for 2-2:30 and it's ready to go. If you prefer not to use a microwave, you can transfer the meal to an oven-safe dish and cook 15 minutes at 350 degrees or until it hits 165 degrees internally. Additionally, you can transfer your meal to a sauce pan, add 1/4 to 1/2 cup of water, cook on medium high with lid on until the veggies steam and it hits 165 degrees internally.
Yes. You can make one-time orders, subscriptions are NOT required. Each order can contain as many or as few meals as you'd like. We also offer same-day on-demand delivery to addresses within 20 miles of each retail location, as well as, same-day on-demand pickup orders at all our retail locations.
To place a one-time order, you will need to begin by either signing into your account, or if you are new, proceed to our menu section or press the start new order button to begin. From here you will input your address and select the delivery or pickup option, whichever you prefer or have access to. From the menu screen, you can then select your items and can add them to your cart using the Add to One-Time Order button. Continue to fill your cart and when you’re ready, proceed to checkout by following the on-screen prompts.

Payments & Cancellations

We accept all major credit cards and cash at our retail locations. All online orders must be pre-paid through our website at the time of purchase. We do not accept payment in-store for weekly recurring subscription orders or for one-time orders placed online.
We are unable to cancel or alter orders, for any reason, that have been processed in our system, per LeanFeast policy. The food items in your order have already been purchased by our Chefs to create the freshest and tastiest food possible. You are responsible for any charges related to any order processed after the lock date. One-time orders are locked in once you select and finalize checkout and are subject to the same lock date policy.
If you are unhappy with any part of your order, please contact LeanFeast within seven (7) days of your fulfillment date. If related to the quality or condition of a meal, we, at our sole discretion, may issue a partial or full credit or refund. We reserve the right, however, to require a photograph of such, before any partial/full refund or credit may be issued.
If you are unable to pick up your order in-store, please contact the store directly. You will have two options; you can pick up your order on the following day or schedule a delivery for an additional charge. We will not credit or refund orders that are not collected in a timely manner from the store.
LeanFeast orders that have gone past their lock date in the system cannot be changed, altered, or canceled. The lock date is the specific deadline to skip your week, edit your meals, or make any changes to your account for your next upcoming order. To view your unique lock date, you will need to log into your account and select the Manage Orders button. The lock date includes everything that will affect your next order with us, including but not limited to; menu items, the delivery address, and the payment method. The lock date is listed for each customer on your account. You have until 11:00 PM the evening before your lock date to make these changes. We cook all dishes to order, so we need this time to prepare, cook, and pack your order in time for your fulfillment. You’ll also receive an email the day before your order locks with a reminder to ensure you do not miss the lock! One-time orders are locked in once you select and finalize checkout and are subject to the same lock date policy.

Food Facts

Our meals are fresh, never frozen, don’t contain preservatives, and have a 5-day shelf life from the date you receive them. The exact number of days depends on the ingredients within that dish. For instance, seafood tends to have a shorter shelf life. If you choose to freeze any item, we suggest freezing the item as close to the date you receive the meal as possible. In addition, we recommend removing it from the freezer the day before you plan to consume it and placing it in the refrigerator so that it has plenty of time to defrost prior to reheating. Please note that our heating instructions are meant for fresh, not frozen, meals, so when heating frozen meals, make sure the meal reaches 165 degrees before consuming.
We use organic ingredients as often as possible, but organic is just one of many characteristics we use to evaluate the food we buy. Ultimately, we attempt to obtain the highest quality food using ingredients that are sourced as close to us as possible. We believe in food that has been minimally processed, thereby maintaining the most nutrients. We recognize that even though some of our purveyors aren’t certified organic, they all practice mindful, responsible, and sustainable methods of the highest quality in their production. Additionally, we prepare almost everything in-house (from sauces to sides) to maintain strict quality control over every LeanFeast meal we serve.

Most meals are one serving, but if ordering larger meals or bulk items you are welcome to split them for multiple individuals. Our standard meal sizes are 4, 6, or 8 oz of protein, 4 oz of carbs, and 1 cup of vegetables, but if you’d like something special, just ask and we’ll modify it accordingly.
Because all of our meals are custom-made, you’re welcome to design them for your macronutrient needs. However, for the same reason and the complexity of creating meals to exact nutrient requirements, we are unable to design them for each individual customer. Our suggestion is that you either build meals to your exact specifications so you can heat and eat, or you order items in bulk and portion them out at home to fit your targets for that meal. If you need extra containers to do so, we’re happy to provide them. That said, if you have allergies or food aversions, we’re happy to help you work through our offerings to make sure your meals are amazing and safe for you.
All of our meals are 100% gluten-free (minus our pancakes and tortillas) AND most are soy-free. We are not a certified gluten-free kitchen, however, we follow all gluten-free kitchen standards and testing.
Funny you should ask! We’re constantly tinkering and coming up with new offerings for flavors, carbs and veggies, plus fun other stuff that we think you’ll love. Our meals can contain as many or as few calories as your heart desires. Since they’re all custom, we can make them as small as you’d like or as big as will fit in a container (or two). The world is your oyster at LeanFeast.

Rewards

Promo codes can be applied on the checkout screen when completing your order. You can also add new promotion codes to your active LeanFeast orders by visiting the Manage Orders section of your account and selecting the Settings button. From here you can edit the applied promotion code. Please note that you will need to remove the current promotion code first as our promotion codes do not stack and cannot be used simultaneously with other codes. Terms and conditions apply. One-time orders must have the promotion applied prior to checkout to be used.
All customers with a LeanFeast account, earn 1 point for every dollar spent on ANY kind of order. ($100 Spent = 100 points Earned). Available points can be applied while completing a purchase. Points do not expire but are subject to LeanFeast's Terms and Conditions.
Each customer will automatically be assigned a Refer a Friend code when signing up for a LeanFeast account. RAF codes are available for ANY customers with a LeanFeast account. Customers (referrers) receive $15 when they refer someone who creates a new account and completes an order worth $50 or more using the RAF code. The customer (referee) will receive a $15 discount on their first order when they add the code at sign-up. ($50 min). Please note that RAF discounts can only be redeemed by new customers! The referring customer can find their code by clicking on the Account Icon, then Referrals. Scroll down to find your Referral code.

Delivery & Packaging

Absolutely! Your first step will be to enter your zip code on our website. From there, you will be connected to your delivery options. Most of our locations can deliver up to 20 miles from our stores, but some even farther.
The delivery fee on your orders will vary depending on your zip code and distance from our stores. Any fees will be displayed clearly prior to finalizing checkout.
Your LeanFeast order occurs once a week, but you can place additional on-demand orders if you live near one of our locations. You must live within a 20-mile perimeter of a store to qualify for our local delivery.
Sure! As long as your office is within our delivery zones we’ll definitely deliver to your office. Please note, many delivery partners do not deliver to businesses on weekends, so we suggest picking a weekday delivery date if you plan to have your meals delivered to your office.
To change your delivery date for an upcoming unlocked order, click on the account button, select Manage Orders, select settings and then the Edit Order date to update your fulfillment day. Changes to delivery dates must be made prior to the lock date for that order. If the lock date has passed, you will see a Cannot Edit Order notification. Changes made after the lock date will affect the next upcoming order.
Yes. Once you log in, select the account then profile from the drop-down menu. Scroll down to the Address section of your account and click on the Pencil icon. If you need to change the address for a specific order, you will need to do so before the lock date for that order. Changes made past the lock date will only affect future orders. Changing an address that is associated with your weekly LeanFeast subscription will affect all upcoming unlocked orders with that address.
We make every effort to ensure that your order arrives fresh to your door. Customers may receive their order in one of the following packaging methods: an insulated LeanFeast cooler bag, or a paper delivery bag direct from one of our local stores. Your delivery will be hand-delivered to your door. The exact delivery time will depend on the time you choose at checkout.
The delivery driver should leave the package for you at your door or specified delivery location with no signature required. That said, we recommend to all our customers that you refrigerate your order immediately upon arrival.
On the day of your delivery, you will receive an email or a text with a link to your personal tracking portal so you can track your bag in real-time. Most orders will be hand-delivered and will arrive between 9 AM and 7:00 PM. You will also receive either an email or text once your delivery is complete with confirmation that the order was successfully delivered. If you’re not home, don’t worry! Your meals will remain fresh for up to several hours. That said, we recommend to all our customers that you refrigerate your order immediately upon arrival.
Delays may occur that are beyond our control here at LeanFeast. Weather, high volume, and a variety of other issues may create an unexpected delay with our delivery partners. If your items do not arrive cool to the touch and at a safe temperature of 40 degrees or below, please feel free to contact our Customer Care team. *Note: You may be asked to provide a photo of the food temperature on arrival using a food thermometer. In the event that you are unhappy with any part of your order, please contact LeanFeast within seven (7) days of the date you received the unsatisfactory item with a description of the issue and photos. If you have received a text or email confirmation that your order was successfully delivered but you still have not received your order, please contact customer care at [email protected] with the details of your order.
Depending on your zip code, we may only offer specific days of the week for delivery. These are restrictions we are working to improve as we move forward, however, we currently can only offer the provided days for delivery to those specific delivery zones.
Here's how to dispose of the various packaging in your delivery. LeanFeast cooler bags: At this time the insulated poly material bags are not able to be recycled by traditional household recycling services and the bags will either need to be reused, discarded, or processed at your nearest recycling center. We are no longer able to collect these cooler bags, so they are yours to keep! We highly encourage reusing our bags, as they are insulated, strong, and perfect for shopping, outings, or any time you need to keep food or drink cool! If you do not need them, you are always welcome to drop them off at your local LeanFeast store and we will be happy to take them off your hands! Lids & meal trays: Our meal containers are made from BPA-free recyclable plastic. Remove the labels from each container. Clean, rinse, and dry the containers. Recycle where plastic is accepted.
